Summer is soon upon us!!!

Please give a BIG Welcome to Carrie Hawkins as our NEW Membership Coordinator for the 2020 Pool Board!!! Carrie is super eager and glad to help out our members!!! She is working hard to transition into the role. If you have a membership question, please be patient as she gets up to speed. She or I will get with you as quickly as we can. A little about Carrie Hawkins…

Carrie is a native of Madison County, and a graduate of Bob Jones High School and The University of Alabama. She moved away to Montana for a couple of years before returning to Huntsville, where she, her husband Jay and their 2 year old, Sperry call home.

Carrie and Jay met in 2008 at a Master Swim class at UAH, and became friends as they trained for triathlons together. In April of 2014, they completed a duathlon relay in Guntersville, before getting married that afternoon on Monte Sano. Jay and Carrie continue to train and race together, and have pushed Sperry in two half marathons, her longest race distance so far! She looks forward to her triathlon debut at the TriBlossomwood race in June!

Carrie and the Hawkins family have made Blossomwood Pool their pool home. Carrie is excited to serve as the Membership Coordinator and help out the pool in any capacity. She looks forward to meeting each of you!

**We are excited to announce that we are implementing new pool membership software. No more sign-in log book! It will be a one stop for ALL memberships. You will be able to update your contact information, sign waivers, and make payments!

This has been long overdue to bring our pool up to speed to handle all of our members needs and to simplify life for our members and future board members. So, please be on the lookout for emails about the new software and getting started. This will be accessible through the Blossomwood Pool website as well. We will be rolling it out in MARCH!

The Blossomwood Pool board is working hard to get everything ready for the season!!! I am excited for another Summer full of Friends, Family, and Fun at our Beloved Blossomwood Pool!!!
