1) MEMBERSHIP DUES:
In order to make necessary repairs to our facility and pay down existing debt, we must raise dues to the following amounts:
Full $575
Double $300
Senior/Single $250
We considered many options to address our expenses and this was the unanimous decision reached. We have expenses throughout the year, not just our summer months. Our member dues are the only money received for the year, and we apply this towards pool maintenance and supplies, staffing, insurance, utilities etc....
POOL DUES MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 6, 2022.
2) STOCK POLICY UPDATE
In order to have accurate accounting AND all members waivers on file as necessary for our by-laws/policies, we are requiring the sale of memberships go through the board. For those interested in selling your membership, we ask that you email our membership director at: bwoodpoolmembers@gmail.com
You, as a member, MUST be in good standing in order to receive your stock fee. The term "good standing" applies when the members dues have been paid continuously from your time as a member. The pool will issue a check for your stock fee only if you are in good standing.
3) POOL OPENING
The pool will open May 26 at 10:00 am. We are looking forward to a fun swimming season and are hoping to add many fun events for our members to enjoy!
4) FERN FUNDRAISER
Our fern fundraiser was very successful last year and we are thrilled to offer it again. We will be selling Boston ferns, Kimberly Queen, and Macho ferns for $25 each. Stay tuned for more information for ordering and pick-up dates.
